Don't wear the holster on your head. The problem is the gap between the gun and holster - sanding won't fix that. Get a heat gun, heat the top of the holster til it's just a lil bit soft, holster, sit on the gun w a couple towels or a foam mat if you have it. The lighttuck is a solid holster but the tenicor is on a whole different level of quality. Tenicor is about as good as it gets. I have a Vedder Lighttuck. It works great for strong side carry. I don't know about AIWB. I just bought a Certum3 for my Dad as a gift because I constantly hear of its superiority.
