Not exactly. Since BO4 the amount of zombies that can spawn in a round has started capping at a certain point before round 50. This is similar to how it was in WAW, where you could never get more than 24 zombies a round. Now the number of zombies is slightly higher, but still not more than 3-4 waves (a wave being 24 zombies) from my experience.
